If you are here for the first time - hello and welcome, we are so pleased that you have found us!
You are very welcome to visit any of the churches of Horsford Benefice, whether you have been to church before or not. Whether you come to All Saints Church, Horsford; St. Margaret’s Church, Felthorpe; or St. Mary and St. Botolph Church, Hevingham, you will find a friendly welcome and space to feel at ease.
First time visiting any of the churches? You do not need to know what to do or say, and there is no pressure to join in. You can take part as much or as little as you like. Come as you are and take things at your own pace.
The churches and services
⛪ All Saints, Horsford
- All Saints has weekly Sunday services, at 10.30 am, and a Tuesday 10.30 am Holy Communion Service.
Services include worship with hymns. There is a mix of quieter services and more upbeat ones such as 'All Age Worship'. We are a lively church community. The church is open every day. 🚗 Car parking for Sunday services only is availbe in the Spice of India car park on Church Street. All other days of the week car parking is along Church Street, there are a few car park spaces behind the church alongside the boundary wall. - Service patterns may change during the year, so please check the website 🗓️ calander for current service times and details.
⛪ St. Margaret’s, Felthorpe
- St. Margaret’s holds services on selected Sundays, often once or twice a month. Worship is quiet and reflective, and the church has a small, friendly congregation. The church is open every day. 🚗 Car parking is limited with a few spaces at the front of the church or along Bilney Lane.

⛪ St. Mary and St. Botolph, Hevingham
- St. Mary and St. Botolph does not hold a regular Sunday service; some services are shared joint services with the rest of the Benefice (All Saints and St. Margaret's) and are usually at All Saints church in Horsford. Main services are held at Easter, Christmas and Remembrance. The church is open every day. 🚗 Car parking is in the lay-by in front of the church.

🤔 What happens in a service?
- Most Sunday services last about an hour, All Age Worship tends to be about 45mins. All services usually include some music or hymns, readings from the Bible, a short talk that links faith with everyday life, and prayers. Everything is clearly guided, with a service book, and you are welcome to just listen or join in if you wish.

👔 What should I wear?
- There is no dress code. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
👩👧👦 Are children welcome?
- Yes. Children are very welcome, and we understand that they may be lively 😊.
💷Do I need to bring money?
- No. Giving is optional and visitors are never expected to contribute however you are welcome to leave a donation if you wish.
🪑Where do I sit?
- You are welcome to sit anywhere in any of the churches you visit - please 'take a pew' and make yourself comfortable.
🧑🏻🦽➡️Accessibility
- We aim to be welcoming to everyone. If you have specific access needs, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to help. Both All Saints and St. Margaret's Church have 🦻🏻hearing aid assisted sound systems, 🧑🏻🦽➡️wheelchair ramp access and ♿disabled toilet facilities.
- Most services are followed by refreshments 🍵 at All Saints Church and there is a chance to chat and get to know people. You are very welcome to stay, but you are also welcome to leave quietly if you prefer.
